• Is ChatGPT Plus worth it?Yes, if you use ChatGPT almost every day, analyse longer files or create images. For occasional questions the free version is enough, and ChatGPT Go (€8.00) is a cheaper step in between.
• ChatGPT free or Plus?The free version is enough for occasional questions and short texts. Go extends the allowance at a low price; Plus unlocks the stronger reasoning modes, more image generation and agent features.
• Is Claude Pro worth it?Yes, if you write a lot, code or analyse long documents – that's where Claude is particularly strong. Max is only worth it if you regularly hit the usage limit on Pro, for example with Claude Code.
• The cheapest AI subscriptionThe cheapest options are entry tiers such as Google AI Plus and ChatGPT Go, but they have lower limits. Among the full plans, Mistral's Le Chat Pro is the cheapest, followed by Claude Pro and Google AI Pro.
• How much does Midjourney cost?Basic (US$11.90) is enough to get started. If you create images regularly, take Standard (US$35.70) – on the annual plan it costs US$28.56 a month. Pro and Mega are mainly worth it for professionals who generate a lot and privately.
• How much does Gemini cost?For most people Google AI Pro (€21.99) is worth it: stronger models, Gemini in Gmail and Docs, and extra storage. Plus is the low-cost entry; Ultra is aimed at heavy users and professionals.
• Is Perplexity Pro worth it?Yes, if you use Perplexity every day as a search engine with sources and need more in-depth research. For occasional searches the free version is enough. Max is only worth it for very intensive use.
• Cursor or GitHub Copilot?GitHub Copilot is the low-cost entry and runs in your usual editor. Cursor is a dedicated AI editor built more around agents and large changes across several files. If you work a lot with AI agents, Cursor is the more likely pick.
• Cancel ChatGPT PlusIn the browser: profile → Settings → Account → Manage subscription → Cancel subscription. If you subscribed on an iPhone or Android, cancel in the subscription settings of the App Store or Google Play. Plus stays active until the end of the paid period.
