The essentials

Prompt Piggy is a static website: there are no user accounts, forms, comments or newsletters. We set no cookies and embed no third-party content.

The calculators run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to us or stored.

Hosting and server logs

This website is delivered via Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you open a page, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the requested address, referrer, and browser and operating system (user agent). This is needed to deliver the site and protect it against attacks.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of data protection for transfers to the USA (Art. 45 GDPR). We do not combine this data with other sources.

Storage in your browser

If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser remembers the choice in local storage (localStorage, key “theme”). It never leaves your browser and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings. It is strictly necessary for the function you requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).

Fonts

Fonts are loaded from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other font provider.

Audience measurement with Cloudflare Web Analytics

To see which pages are visited and how often, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, uses no local storage and builds no cross-site profiles. Your browser loads a script from static.cloudflareinsights.com and sends the page address, referrer, browser type, load times and the country derived from your IP address. According to Cloudflare, the IP address is not stored for analytics.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a website that meets visitors' needs (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For transfers to the USA, see “Hosting and server logs”.

We link to the providers' pricing pages. You only leave this website when you follow a link; the respective provider is responsible for data processing there.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise them, contact us at the address above.
