ChatGPT free or Plus?
ChatGPT is available for free, as Go for €8.00 and as Plus for €23.00 a month. The main difference is how much you can do with the stronger models and tools.
What can ChatGPT do for free?
Without a subscription you can chat with ChatGPT, have it write texts and ask questions. Images, file uploads and the stronger reasoning modes are tightly limited, though – if you regularly run into those limits, a subscription pays off.

Our recommendation
Start for free. If the allowance slows you down day to day, Go is the affordable next step. Plus is worth it as soon as you need the stronger models for work or study – on the annual plan it costs €19.17 a month.
