Assumptions
- A month has 365/12 ≈ 30.4 days unless set otherwise.
- Input tokens per request include the whole chat history and files sent along – in long chats this grows with every message.
- Output tokens include “thinking” tokens, which providers bill as output.
- Cached input is billed at the cache-read price; surcharges for writing to the cache are not included (costs tend to be understated).
- Standard prices without batch discount, fast mode or data residency; web search, images and tools cost extra.
- Converted at the stated exchange rate, without bank or card fees.
- API prices are net. For consumers the country's VAT is added; for businesses with a VAT ID net prices are compared.
- Subscription usage limits are not considered – at very high usage a subscription may hit limits that the API doesn't have.
